Tim Tebow hasn’t decided to give up on his NFL dream yet, but he has already found himself another job.
Returning as an analyst
ESPN announced on Monday that Tebow has been hired as its newest analyst. Tebow has signed a multi-year deal with ESPN to join the SEC Network launching in August 2014.
The former Heisman Trophy winner will make his debut with the network next week during pregame coverage of the NCAA national championship game between Florida State and Auburn.
‘Passion for college football’
Tebow’s main duties will be with the new SEC Network, but he’ll also serve as a regular contributor on SportsCenter, ESPN Radio, and the ESPN’s Heisman Trophy coverage.
“I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity,” Tebow said in a statement revealed by ESPN. “…while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC.”
